God has incredible purpose for us in this life. We get to know and love the God of the universe, and even participate in His plans! Our amazing privilege is to live for the glory of God, that His name and His fame would be spread throughout the earth. And if this were not enough, Jesus has promised us abundant life and joy not dependent on any life circumstance. We read in God’s word, In John 10:10 (NASB), The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy; I come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

Even though we know all the promises of Scripture are true, it is easy to lose focus and become weighted down with cares, defeat, past hurts, patterns, hopelessness and other areas of sin that keep us in from our ability to walk in the fullness of identity and purpose God intends for us. These hindrances steal our intimacy with Christ and the joy of our salvation. Freedom is about being released to love and serve Jesus wholeheartedly.

Put simply, the FREEDOM MINISTRY is about becoming free to be more like Jesus and reflecting His love and power to everyone around us. Freedom is not just about changing behaviour, but about letting God transform us. Freedom is what Christ brought us through His death and resurrection.

Our approach to Freedom Ministry recognises that living without hinderances, in freedom, often involves understanding some key areas: the power of salvation; our original design and identity in Christ; strongholds; our authority in Christ; the effects of injustice; intercession and breaking generational curses. We believe that working through these areas in a guided process of teaching, discussion and prayer is incredibly valuable, and that we were never meant to navigate these journeys alone. Our pastors and leaders take a gentle, supportive and informative approach, creating a safe space to explore, understand and pray through these areas together as we grow in the freedom and wholeness Jesus offers.
